So....yesterday in a TvP I played, I came across a build that I haven't seen before, but only heard of in the beta days. I opened up with a reaper with a proxy factory follow up in mind. Everything was normal, as he managed to get a probe inside my main before my wall could complete, which was pretty standard up until the point where he made a nexus right beside my CC.

The only thing going off in my mind was that I was definitely going to get photon overcharged, but I figured that if he was planning on building the MSC straight from the proxy nexus, I will have killed the nexus by then. But that when before I suddenly got a glimpse of what was coming.

Having realized that he was directly sending the MSC straight to my base while collecting energy, I knew I was basically about to lose this game if he got the overcharge off. So, the best thing I could think of was throwing a techlab onto my barracks and getting a marauder out ASAP while attacking the nexus with 90% of my SCVs.

I managed to kill the nexus with 2-3 seconds to spare, but I still had to deal with the MSC as I didn't have a single bit of anti-air for defense, but knowing that already, I invested in an engineering bay before hand and managed to get 2 turrets up to deter the MSC.
At this point, he probably realized how grim the situation was especially with my reaper harassing his mineral line and the proxy factory I landed into his main base. He proceeds to take off without leaving a sentence of rage.
